Batribikes

hello,

I’m new to the world of electric bikes and here for some advice please.?
I’ve tried both the alpha and quintessential Batribikes and like them both.
I haven’t used a bike for quite a long time, but like the idea of an electric one. However, I’m cautious about spending too much in case it’s a bit of a white elephant that I don’t get as much use out of to justify the cost.
Any thoughts on Batribike which seem good value for the cost, or an alternative please?

I have no experience of Batribikes, but of the two models I would go for the Alpha with the rear hub motor as opposed to the Quintessential with the front hub motor:

Amongst other features I notice that the Alpha has Schwalbe tyres as standard, a good point.

Do plenty of research on competing ebikes in your price bracket before you splash the cash.

If you're serious then the UK Cycle Show at the NEC will soon be here. Batribike and many other brands will be on show.
You should be able to ride and compare hundreds of decent bikes and make a good decision.
You're right to hesitate when spending a lot of money...
