Hi Guys,

I'm thinking of buying the Bebike 500 as my first ebike for a 5 mile daily commute to a railway station. My plan is to lock it up there and jump on the train. unfortunately the bike racks are all exposed to the weather outside. will the bike cope with being rained on ? do I need to take out the battery every time?
Cheers,
Jay

A bike cover will be needed but doubt it will stay put for long, eventually the rain will cause issues with electrics. Ebikes will cope most part for riding in the rain but to leave one out in it is a different story. Take the battery with you and cover the exposed mount/connector other wise the battery/bike will get nicked or if not the battery will suffer from water ingress, Cwah did that and his 48v battery died over night. Lcd and controller can be covered to resist rain with shower caps or the like, also as with all bikes left in the rain components will eventually suffer and rust.
