Can I use this battery? Or is it proprietary?

Hi guys,

I'm planning on converting a MTB with a bbs02.
I own a 17Ah battery from a focus mtb, and it would be cool if I could use it, but is it possible? Or is it a proprietary battery that I can't use elsewhere?

You could try it. If it doesn't work, there are various ways to hack it, but you need to open it and do a bit of wiring.

How about this plug? Is it standard?

No, if you don't have the plug you are most likely going to need open the battery and wire in a new one along with a new BMS. Do you have a charger?

Yes, I have the original Focus charger. This powers the impulse motor.
