hi, well ive got my giant full e up to full speed. i say full, im kinda topping out at 22-25mph with my legs spinning around. ive got a 28/38 front chainring. considering going to a single. would i gain much going to a 40t or as i rarely use the 28t go to something like a 34/42 or is that a stupid idea?

I have a 42/32 on Number Two and I really think it should be a 44/32 for relaxed road use. Unrestricted it should assist up to 45 km/h no sweat on the flat.
