Charger question.

I have just given my cyclotricity Stealth 500w away to my father in law. It has the 48w 12ah battery but for the life of me I can't find the charger. Or at least I'm not sure if I can. I found one that looks like how I remember it looking. However it says its a 42v 2A charger. Does this sound correct. This sound correct as I'll never live it down if he blows himself up lol.

No.
42v charger is for a 36v nominal battery.
For 48v battery you need a 54.6v charger 2a is fine.
