I use the remote all the time. I have seen others leaning down to adgust the fork but if course to change the rear without the remote you would have to stop..
I find it really comfortable
Geometry is good welds are finished nice
Gearing is nicely spaced out and I use it 50/50 road and trails I did up the front sprocket to a 16t instead of the stock 15t but it’s only because my mate had one so I thought I would up the gearing on the road in top for fast down hills
Any thing else you need to know just shout :)
Thanks, think I will probably go for it over the giant dirt e +1 pro, seems slightly better spec, my only concern is I can get the giant locally and the Scott is 200 miles away, just worried about any problems whilst under warranty.

My giant dealer was closer too hence why I looked at it first but I ended up going to a dealer 200 miles round trip away instead
Sound familiar lol

I would always go local if at all possible.
Ideally but they have to have the goods. I have been told by my local dealer I have to pay deposit for it to be ordered in and there is no refund if the bike doesn't suit me.

That’s a bit harsh
No refund on deposit
How much do they want

Did you not look at the link for Rutland Cycling that I posted yesterday?

The bike....https://www.rutlandcycling.com/bikes/electric-bikes/giant-dirt-e-plus-1-pro-2018-electric-mountain-bike-orange_382063

Investigate the home demo offer. You could demo the Giant Dirt-E Plus 2 Pro to gauge the feel and sizing of the bike

As far as fit is concerned
Do you have a current mtb or know someone who has
It could go along way to working out your ideal frame
How tall are you ?
Inside leg ?

Me too, and I am glad I did. I had a problem with mine which meant it had to go back to the shop twice before they sorted it. The second time they even came to my house and picked it up (about 20 miles round trip), and then dropped it back home to me when they had sorted the problem.

Yes I did have to pay £50 for the demo, think my mind is made up. Not gonna buy from someone "local" with an attitude of spend a lot of money on a bike and hope it works out.
