Cube Acid Hybrid 500 E Bike

Afternoon i am just waiting for my new cube to arrive initially i was going for the 400 motor but changed it to the 500 also opted for some Marathon Plus Tyres its my first e bike it will be strange after using normal bikes for so long but were i have just moved to its really hilly so i am hoping it might help lol , has anyone got one ?

Loving it been all over this week, rode to work been over local trails and climbing the local hills can't believe the places I can get to without much hassle really, although I did use walk mode the other day to climb a really steep rocky path whilst pushing the bike.

Spanner light came on today which I believe means it needs a service and I seem to get a strange metal tingling noise when at high spinning doing decent speeds not sure if its spokes or motor ?

How many miles have you done for the spanner to come one , i might also consider a dongle

70 !! I know I've ridden it hard with plenty of hills though, don't know if you need a dongle it makes you spin enough to give you a workout and mine seems fast enough I do 16mph easy on the flat and 10-13 on hills with no real pain in the legs just spinning fast

if my bike stopped at 15mph id throw it in the canal

it will half the range of a 500w batt tho so dont expect much more than 25 miles in full assist.

I can do 22-23 downhill still pedalling but I run out of gears after that

last time at the fod on the fire road i hit over 50mph
