Derestricting Freego Martin Sport

Hi, I'm John and started EBiking in September of last year, now have 2 bikes, 3 year old Freego Martin Sport which I bought second hand, it has the rear wheel motor and a Life Mountain Sport which is essentially the same bike only new, it has a de-..restriction switch for off road use. The Freego has the better Bafang motor and I would love to know how to de-restrict for off road use and to compare it with new ebike.
