Hi all,

Great forum, hoping you guys can help me.
After 2.5 years my EBCO UCR60 just stopped powering the motor. Display is fine (no errors) showing battery as charged, magnets and sensors seems to be aligned. I've had it to the bike shop (not really an ebike specialist) and they've said all seems to be well, multimeter says power going to the motor and battery fine but have suggested a motor service as a last resort with no guarantee it will work.

Anyone here had a similar problem or can advise next steps? Or even an ebike specialist in South East London? Not I want to fork out if not worth it and would rather cut losses.

All help or advice gratefully received and returned in Karma.

Could be a faff to fault find but if battery is fine and switched on I would start with disconnecting brake cut offs and throttle if fitted to see if PAS worked ,if good then reconnect throttle to try that and then brakes to start with. Whilst at it I would also check all above said wiring for continuity to rule out any issues.

You need to to take it to a Transx dealer who has access to the software. That's the problem with these types of bikes. You're locked out when it comes to fixing them.

Is there a calibration procedure for the torque sensor mentioned in the handbook?
