Just fitted the Bafang 250 mid drive motor to my 1990's Marin and took it out for my first real ride just shy of 19 mile average speed 12.69 which was ok. What I did find out is 1st gear is out of bounds kept throwing the chain off after the fourth time I just didnt use it and was fine. Is this pretty standard on a 7 speed cassette?
Also didnt know how to change from kph to mph but sussed that now.
Overall impression quite happy with the performance I did notice the battery indicator on the display still showed full when I got home but the battery LED showed 1 light down the battery is a 14.5 AH
