For additional range the two fire extinguishers as extra propulsion could be handy up steep hills.

For comfort obviously the inflatable Hula disco island has to come along for the ride for river & pond crossings.

Not sure what the blackboard, weird cricket bat and henry hoover can contribute to your main objectives, but best bring em along.

Pump can come aboard just in case and another roll of stealthy duck tape to keep the additional enhancements from dropping off.

Why bother with the pedals if you're not fitting a chain?
The freewheel noise was driving me crazy. I removed it for piece of mind.

If there are reliable and silent freewheel I'd put it back

Don't be downhearted Cwah, it's par for the course on this site. That's why so many people visit but never return. Keep on with your project - you're doing better than I am with the Juiced frame!

It was just the juxtaposition in the photo that amused me, no sarcasm intended. I like the look of the bike, be interested how you find it once you’ve used it a bit. A semi-recumbent could be ideal, shame Giant don’t make that model anymore.

Yes I'm going to ride it soon and will report back. It'll be an interesting ride!

I started to have wrist and back pain on my other bike when doing long journey. I hope this one will solve them all.

So now I got 1 bike to carry people and 1 for long distance :)

I found this the other day, or it found me, on YouTube. Some lateral thinking there.
Similar to yours, but built with a different purpose in mind, I think.

I would agree what they say in the video about more power from the forward kick position. On a upright if you want to add more power you can use your weight by standing up, on a recumbent you push harder. As a rower that works really well for me. So well that I am about to fit an accessory to block the fore/aft seat adjustment on the trike!

I think it was the inflatable palm tree in the background that distracted them... :)

I have seen one of those bikes in the original Giant motorised form in San Sebastian and if I had a garage it would be on my list of collectable e-bikes like the Swizzbee.

Took a better picture!

I just had a try, it seems more efficient in general.

I just have 2 small issue:
- the crank would be better if further out... But it would need welding and I don't have the équipement.
- the backseat would be much better if it can have a lower angle, so I'd have a more aero position.

Not sure what would be the best option... But I may stick to that for now
