Really enjoying this bike.
However broke the main on/off switch on the bars. Opened it up thinking that I could repair it. It is a tiny surface mount component which I was unable to solder back on.
Just put some solder across the terminals so taking the battery on and off is now the switch [emoji3]
Anyone foresee any problems with this?

If there's no switch on the battery, each time you connect it, it'll erode the connections until it'll have connection problems.

Yeah noticed arcing on the battery terminals last week. So after a couple of hours of finicky soldering this morning have got it working again.
However still not convinced that it is robust enough for off-road use.
