Giant twist express charger flashing?

Hi guys,

Just got my giant twist express out of storage after about a year. I've gone to charge up the battery and the charge light is flashing when it's connected. The manual helpfully tells me to make sure that the light is constant and not flashing, but doesn't say what this means or how to fix it. Any ideas?

If yours is a lithium battery Twist and you haven't charged the battery for a year, the battery has quite possibly failed now. They have to be put on charge at least every three months to stay in good health, a year is far too long.

Do you have a meter to check what voltage the battery has left?

Otherwise the flashing often indicates a poor or broken connection. Try replugging in and if that doesn't work, try changing the order of plugging, i.e. mains first or battery first to see if one of those starts the charging.

Thanks Flecc, I had the same problem with a second hand Twist Express I bought last week and thanks to your advice, all working fine now.
