I'm not the jaunty type! Nor the flat cap sort. (Not long ago we were in a woollen mill with some of their own flat caps on display - I put one on and was immediately told by partner that they really were not my style. I agree!)

I did have one of those waterproof helmet covers, but I have never used it, if it’s raining, I have a helmet with light fitted, where the vents are covered over with helicopter tape, but I just use my hat if shopping on the Brompton, or woolly hat if cold
