hello all
I find my 2 torque sensor ebikes are getting hard work for me where biggish hills are concerned.

Carrera subway with 250 tdz2 in general ok except for really steep hills.
bosch ktm activeline 50nm just does not have enough power for me on longish or steep hills, I get out of breath and my legs start to ache.

so I was thinking of a non ts setup which I believe the bafang bbs moters are and can be programmed, and have 9 levels of pas + throttle which I find is a great help.

what model bbs should I go for 36v 350w or would 36v 250 be ok and up the keep current
and where best to purchase bbs kit (I have 36v batteries)

completely off topic I saw a giant equike yesterday and spoke to the owner, what a nice piece of kit but about £2500

For me it seems like a torque sensor could be a good idea but the sensitivity is not set up right - a very slight increase in pressure on the pedals should be enough to tell the motor you need more power.

I would choose the 350 W 36v because apparently the new version of the BBS01 250W doesn't let you up the Amps to 18A.
