I'm going to be starting a new job in two weeks that will involve a commute. I refuse to go by car and am hoping that an e-bike will mean that I can cycle the journey. It's about 20km by the most direct route, and that involves a fairly steep climb, about 200 metres over 4km (Blue Bell Hill), and I'm looking for some assistance with that hill. Here's an image of the profile of the route:
I'll be looking around the forum for how to choose an electric bike. I've already picked up that it is almost essential to go to one of shops and try a few out, but I presume there should be a set of important criteria.
I'm already buzzing with excitement about the possibility of doing this.
