Levo chain ring

Hi. I have a 2016 / 17 Levo and I would like to drop the chain ring from 32T to 30T. Basically I want to run the motor as low as I can and I find the gearing is too high on single track climbs.
I have looked at 30T hope chain ring but the 2ish mm offset looks to me as though it might rub the motor cover and it would also misalign the chain to the rear - would the mis-alignment be a problem?

I would be interested is you find something suitable as well, I think specialized only do 32/34t chain rings and are hardened steel. Looking at mine it doesn't seem like there's much room to go smaller in diameter.
You could go SunRace MX8 11-speed Cassette 11-46 .

If it is 10spd sunrace do 11-42t cassette. Do some research first as derailleur may not be able to handle larger sprockets.

Are you sure about that, all the research that I have done indicates that the sram NX-GX derailleur would be fine.

Check the Q/A it may depend on how the rear suspension type changes the chain length.
