Just a quick hi to all I am a Carrera Crossfire owner had mine 7months now and usual cutout problems ,great bike tho! the cutouts you get used to its used every day and aproaching 1200 miles i am almost 60 and have cycled most of my life. The Carrera was the best bike i have ever purchased even if it wasnt electric its a joy to ride.

Hi BB same as you purchased my carrera crossfire e bike earlier this year, for the price I think the bike is awsome. Like you I experienced cut outs at I think it was about 600 miles, but cured it by placing a plastic tie wrap around the connector to keep it solid, I think the heel of my left trainer was occasionally catching it. See the attached photo and try it

Thanks oggie mine is cable tied all the time and covered with the neoprene cover then cable tied,my cutouts always happen in the same manor and situation slow speed almost walking speed easy sorted tho long press of the battery button so i think its more the BMS in the Battery thats causing this problem! another than that its a fantastic bike i use mine every day for work in all weathers so far so good !

I reckon that the cut-outs are probably related to an over-sensitive sensor in the battery-probably a temperature sensor because, anecdotally, the cut-outs always happen when going slow or stationary after some harder use.
