At least the original looked cool. That looks like a penis on wheels.
We are not similarly equipped then  mine doesn't look like a vélomobile. I was thinking that the rear did bear some resemblance to that of a baboon however.

You could ride that here about 1 month in the year with your clothes on and even in the UK how is he controlling internal fogging with the external temperatures you have? Yes I see the gap around the canopy but...

Nobody is pedalling in the video so it is a moped not a pedelec...

Canopy prone to scratching.

Looks wider than most vélomobiles.

Looks great, but no use on the cycle paths around where I live, as they all have narrow restrictive barriers every few hundred yards...............I even have to turn the bars on my normal bike and lift and shuffle forward to get through..............

Do I detect a hint of sarchasm, or are you being genuine Dave?
No, that is very cheap, a hand made vélomobile starts at about 6000 €, 8-10 k€ being the price for the best ones.

It comes with 48V 20AH battery.
I can see an opportunity to sell additional battery packs.

First one is a Twizy wannabee and the second could be a pedelec if cut off is set to 15 mph.

No. My finger keeps hovering over the buy-it-now button.

I think it would be better if the canopy was hinged from the bottom, then you could have a half-canopy for the summer, and maybe a tonneau cover for the open bit for when it rains.

Without windscreen wipers and washers, it could be a problem on salty winter roads, but that's the same with just about any enclosed velomobile - most of which cost closer to £10,000.

25 mph 10 years . Obviously someone hasn't done their homework . Unless the 14 year old is fit.

What I would like to know is more about the chassis , is it a a basic trike with a body and electrics? Or is it a complete new build?
Other recumbent trikes cost from £1.500 to 4.ooo, without the body or electrics, I can't see how they offer it to £3.000, tho' I am enthusiastic about it, hope it doesn't ride like a lemon!

30mph+ as an ebike, were does it fit in the law, me thinks!
The 30 mph version is a Light Quadricycle in both EU and UK law. It is a motor vehicle class with all the usual conditions.

The 30 mph restricted version of the Renault Twizy also fits into this class, but its 50 mph version fits in the Heavy Quadricycle class.

The origin of quadricycle law in the UK was in the Cyclecars of the 1920s.
