Replacement motor for kalkhoff Agattu

I bumped into a guy in the town park that said he was trying to fix a knackered Impulse motor for said bike, so I went to have a look at it. As spares aren't available for it, I told him that he'd need a replacement one. Unfortunately, he didn't buy the bike new, so hasn't got a friendly dealer. Does anybody know what the procedure is for getting a replacement motor in such circumstances? Should he have to pay for it?

Thanks, Soundwave. IIRC, the software settings are on a sd card in the display. Would there be any issues with software?

id ask pcg as they should know what needs to be done and has to be sent with the motor or not.

otherwise there 600 quid
