Im totally new to ebikes, have researched now for a few weeks since buying Ebike parts off eBay. im stuck however trying to figure out which Sensor I can use In this Situation.
I bought a wheelset (rear geared non-Hall Motor), 8.8 Ah battery, Display, speed sensor, wiring loom and faulty bottom bracket sensor from a Fischer Pedelec. Unfortunately the wires broke off the internal Bottom bracket sensor as it was being removed. I've managed to strip the wires enough to solder it, but the entire plastic casing is loose and rotates freely, so I'm not sure if it is completely stuffed.
I'd like to firstly understand what this bottom bracket sensor is:
is it simply a PAS or PAS with Torque sensor, digital, analoge any ideas?
Would a generic PAS sensor (side bottom bracket mounted magnet unit) be a viable alternative to the integrated bottom bracket sensor?
Has anybody resolved the same or similar issue?
For any advice in this matter I would be very thankful
