Hello all, I'm glad to find this site, I have just bought a none working Electric bike and want to get it up and running.

I know nothing about them but I think I have scored lucky because the bike I just bought is a "Rush - Trek" and is beautifully made, I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it.

It is in great shape and the wiring all looks great but I'm realistic and I am prepared for unpleasant surprises lol


I am a {almost} 64 yo Commercial Artist and cartoonist when I am working but have been sick for almost 2 years with tummy swelling problems that mean my lungs are being compressed by my tum and I am very quickly out of breath hence the move from my mountain bike to the e bike.

Thats about it, I look forward to reading more here

First place to start is to buy a cheap volt meter and test the battery output voltage.
