if it still does the job for you why do you want to sell it?

Just looking for a change, when you don't smoke or drink and don't drive a car It becomes a challenge on what to spend your money on :)
I understand that surplus money reason, 7 cars in 25 years of retirement when one could have done the total mileage easily.

Mike's bike at £695 is a great bargain, caused only by the small size of the e-bike market, its worth very much more. The battery alone is worth much of the price.

Well guys it's gone....sold it this afternoon.
He bargained me down a tad but not to worry.
....thanks to everyone who helped bump it up.

Now looking for another ebike, torn between an FT- 15 from Cyclezee
...front hub motor, less than £1000....easy to sell for £400 after 12 months,
or another Kalkhoff .... Tasman 8, hub gears, for double the price of the FT.
...twice the price unless James'd give me the discount.
......that could be a deal breaker, but still be struggling to sell it in a year.
Any recomendations for something else ?

....cheers everyone....Mike

you've got the cash, depreciation does not matter much. So it's down to which bike is better / more pleasant to ride than the all ones you've had before.

Hi Mike,

The FT-15's are sold out but we do have the the FT-11 which I think was the model that you were interested in.

HI John...It was the style of the FT-15 that caught my interest.
However I will re-consider the FT-11....just wish I could see one.

Were I in your situation right now Mike, I'd be inclined to try one of the Ezee models rather than the Ansmann. They don't win beauty contests but who cares? Apart from that, Onbike have a wide selection of brands with different motors. Many are pricey though!

Any dealer though who can offer test rides on bikes with different makes of motor from the same premises is worth a visit. As I look around, I'm bound to say that 50Cycles still provide a good choice of machines and their pricing seems pretty keen. Their Kalkhoffs are a lot of bike for the money, especially if you buy at discount which is offered quite frequently and as a previous customer, you may be favourably treated in that regard at any time?
