Started thinking this 3 speed wire connector might be useful. Having a throttle with low, med, high versatility.D8veh and other research indicate this is what it will do. However ive done the test bridging the ground wire to each of the other two. Both combinations however reduce the speed the wheel spins .While left open is the fastest. Not whats supposed to happen.Any ideas anyone? Thanks

Maybe it's not for a three-speed switch.

Are you running in sensorless mode?

Its possible d8veh but it corresponds to the same in footpumps photo labeled 3 speed wire.Red socket with Black, blue/white stripe, green/white stripe. On the circuit board they are marked gnd,h1,h2. Its a sensored motor .I had the wheel off the ground and tried the combinations running the throttle to max . Not riding under load. So it must have been running sensored . Does sensored mode change to sensorless after bikes got moving? Both combinations reduced rpm by a third approx.Couldnt detect a difference between them. But with neither joined the wheel spins about as fast as i can imagine it would.
