YK71 36volt Controller wiring

Hope I'm in the right thread, anyway here goes, I have a YK-71 36v controller which is very basic, power in, output to the motor, throttle and brake connectors.

There are also 2 black wires with separate connectors and I was wondering what function these have if any.

Anyone able to help.

Hi flecc, problem sorted, original controller turned out to be OK so the cheap controller is in the spares bin.
