Entz

A2B unveil their latest electric bike model this week at Friedrichshafen’s Eurobike.

The Entz, named after the American inventor of electromagnetic transmission, Justus B Entz, features A2B’s new ‘CONTI® eBike system’ from Continental. Available in standard or deluxe versions, with the new gearless NuVinci Harmony hub featured in the deluxe model.

The company told Pedelecs: “CONTI® eBike is a complete drive system consisting of a motor, display, remote and battery and the Entz is one of the first bikes in the world to feature the technology”.

The 3.4kg compact motor is integrated within the frame design. The deluxe version NuVinci hub changes the gears automatically and also enables the rider to adjust their own individual cadence. A backlit display on the handlebar gives the rider real-time feedback on their speed, distance, power and battery status.

A2B General Manager, Fernando Kuefer, said: “A2B is renowned for redefining journeys and the Entz is the latest embodiment of this evolution. The striking German design and robust frame provide the ultimate performance in appearance and quality, supported by the unique features of the CONTI® eBike system.”

The standard Entz will retail at £2,899 with the deluxe model at £3,399.
