The ZL-2 and ZR-2, described as the ‘entry level’ models, will be available at £799 at the end of October 2016.
There will also be a 28” wheel larger frame option finished in satin black or satin blue.
EBCO also plan to offer a 400 WH battery upgrade on the ZL/R-2 models (with increased range averages cited as between 40-50 miles) and Shimano Nexus 7 hub gears.
Colour options for the range:
ZL-5 low step and ZR-5 roadster
Rolling out in January 2017 will be a ZL-5 low step and ZR-5 roadster, details on the higher specification are still to be unveiled, but it will retail at £999 and also be available in 26” wheel with small and medium frame size options. A 28” wheel large frame option is finished in satin nickel.
ZF-4 – the folding option and also available early 2017 – will also retail at £999. With 20” wheel and a medium frame, the folder will be finished in satin silver.
EBCO’s MD, Paul Stanforth, told Pedelecs: “With the huge growth in the e-bike market over the last couple of years and the foreseen growth of the sector going forward it’s very exciting to launch the PULSE brand and range of e-bikes now. With an entry level price point of just £799 for an e bike with excellent build quality, components and tech package the bikes are really going to open up the market further.”
