H7 Engineering (owner of Oxygen Bicycles) have signed an agreement with Seascooter UK Ltd to form a new company called Oxygen Electric Bikes Ltd (OEBL).

Seascooter UK Ltd will become a major shareholder in the new company and will take over all sales, marketing and support operations from its offices in Goldthorpe, South Yorkshire.

H7 Engineering will continue to manufacture and distribute OXYDrive conversion kits while Oxygen Bicycles will be now under new management of OEBL.

Oxygen Bicycles, with its 7 year market presence, has established a reputation for well designed, quality electric bikes with excellent support and backup to both dealers and users alike.

Andrew Lozinski, owner of Oxygen Bicycles said: “I’m very delighted to join forces with a new partner. Seascooter UK Ltd has a very well established position in both the UK and Europe in the Seascooter industry. That proves their ability to market products and maintain excellent customer relations which will be very beneficial for our new company.

“Additionally I’m very pleased that the servicing side of the business will now continue to be handled by professional engineers from a very similar electronics industry that deal with lithium batteries and electric motors on a daily basis. This gives even more reassurance that the support side of the business will continue to be maintained at the highest level possible.”

John Camm, director of Seascooter UK Ltd added: ”Looking at the increase in e-Bike sales over the past 12 month I decided it was a good time to invest in a rapidly growing market, and after a long period of research I decided that investment in a well established brand is the right decision for me to make. I’m glad we agreed on the joint venture deal and now everything is in place for us to have a very successful future.

“June will see the launch of our new mountain bike range which will complement our existing models, which we are very much looking forward to”.

John Camm and his team will continue to market and expand the Oxygen’s dealer network whilst Andrew will concentrate on the R&D side of the business and the development of all future new products.
