he is right,euro bikes are not fitted with throttle,however uk bikes are...i am not sure on the legislation,maybe flecc or someone else can clear that up?

the black/white wires are the brake cutouts,the other 2 are speed limiter. possibly the throttle was damaged when your light cable melted?

looking from the chainguard side,its the left terminal. make sure you have an on/off switch on your battery and its off before insertion .

there are 2 battery packs in a Salisbury LPX battery,its possible to switch packs out for new,but only from another W/S Battery. Flecc is right,getting hold of a replacement pack would be difficult... if you have a query,contact me. daniel.harper@ahkter.com

more importantly,what kind of aftersales are they providing......... i am always dubious about these kind companies jumping on bandwagons..

i wish i could be more forgiving,however,i have only just got back to work after being t boned by a mug in a van....4 breaks in the shoulder,titanium plate holding it all together,big scarring (chicks dig them!) and a year and a half off............red means STOP fool........

i think with most bikes available,the power of the motor can always be overcome by the power of the brakes,so they are not required if you so wish.. However,possibly is better idea to have them as it doesnt create load on motors while using the brakes under power and possibly extend battery...
