Error code 1 on bafang hub

Just a quickie. Took the e-mtb up to the local trail, Nant yr Arian. First time I turned it on error code 1. Turned it off and on a couple of times then rode off. 10 mile no problems. Looked it up in the book when I got home it says it means throttle error. I didn't actually fit the throttle...

EBC kit to 25yo MTB Commuter?

It was the controller that needed an upgrade. If you look in my profile you'll see the thread... Bought the upgrade from China. Link is also in the thread . I think the thread is two bikes one sluggish or something similar :) Alex

EBC kit to 25yo MTB Commuter?

I got that too. Changed the controller on advise from here, and it's a really good kit. The Elfie one is much the same. I got both. Alex

    Just added mud guards...

I don't expect mudguards to break tbh. And if they do at £8 who cares? I do plenty of rough and wet stuff. The only reason to dislike mud guards really is they look ugly. . That's it really. And if you don't want to get soaked you don't have much option.? Alex

    Just added mud guards...

I hate the look of mudguards on a bike but it's starting to get really mucky and I'm getting fed of coming home looking like I've been sprayed with mud. Tredz had these for £8 so thought I'd give them a go. Very plasticky but I didn't get covered so I guess they'll be staying on till spring :)

Pine martens. An unusual use for e MTB?

Thanks all. The e bike is great for getting to quiet places and doing my filming. The bike is an old Scott I picked up for around £100 then I added a 350w rear hub. I started off with a bottle battery which was good but riding it was too much fun so I have upgraded to an eclipse 17ah battery. I...

Pine martens. An unusual use for e MTB?

Bit of a weird thread to start I know but I thought it might be of interest. I live in mid Wales and have spent years looking for a possibly extinct (in Wales) pine marten. That's kind of how I ended on this forum and also how come I've now done hundreds of miles on my DIY hub conversion MTB. So...

Two hub conversions side by side comparison....

cool. there's also a 350w one there which is only 17a. That might be a bit less likely to damage the motor.?

Two hub conversions side by side comparison....

Two hub conversions side by side comparison....

mmm. I think I checked mine but I'm not sure about the one on the ebc kit. Unless anyone knows if its sine or not? If I google image search the controller it says Contrôleur 15A 250W Référence KT36ZWSR Alex ah. and an old panda bikes page (cached) says Model no.KT36ZWSR-FZ19NMax Voltage50VMin...
