Me too, I stick some fleece samples to the straps to look like great big side burns. Maybe that's why Bradley Wiiggins had big sideburns?

When you initially thread all the nipples on to the same place/thread on the spokes you will need to back the right side nipples off 2 full turns before proceeding to allow for those spokes being 1mm short and put them all in the correct starting place as if the spokes were the correct length...

It looks like the ones I linked to have a short piece of wire already connected ready to solder onto existing wires, but you can get the plugs on their own ready for crimping too.

How about your mate asks somebody like ryanbuildswheels.co.uk or thespokedwheel.co.uk to see if he sent them the motor only, would they build it up in a new rim. Posting the motor only would cost about £10'ish

Same as me , this book got me into it more and my wheels have never give any problems since following this book.

If your current wheels are 14y old they are likely secured by nuts on the shaft ends or quick release. Newer hubs like these are thru axle and won't fit in the same frame.

I've only ever bought low value items on Ali over a few years and never had any problems.

Ali add UK VAT on the price at the checkout, ebay don't (yet).

It looks like that bike has thru-axle wheels. The Q128C needs the quick release wheels style of frame.
