Attached is a photo of the setup the seller put together. He recommends I buy a new controller with similar specs and try to replace it myself.

So Halfords was useless, the technician didn't know how to use a multimeter! No idea where to go with it now, trying to source somebody near North Dublin to assess and ideally fix the wiring/controller as I don't know how to myself.

Yep, new 35A BMS, Fully charged it and the controller screen shut off the second I turned it on, without the throttle. So I should open up the brand new battery now and test group by group?

Nightmare, just paid for the new battery and I still have the exact same issue. What next? I assume it's either a wiring or controller issue.

How would I switch the packs inside my case if I needed to use the backup? At present, battery pack is permanently attached to both connectors (charging port and output port), plus some wiring for light and switch etc. I cannot find an exact replacement for my battery case.

Thanks. I remember the battery seller offered to ship the replacement cells - if I got 6 of these I could make a replacement 13s6p battery I imagine? Probably I would have to ask for a replacement case also so I can just slide once case off and the other on?

He said there is no insulation between series so he will have to strip battery down to bare cells and rebuild it. So will take him about 3-4 hours (€120-150) - probably a better option than having the batteries lying around or disposed of? What sort of range would I be expecting from a 13s5p...

Yep he said I can keep them, although he suggested I leave them with him to dispose of as he says they can be dangerous.
