    TSDZ2 battery voltage

I notice that there is no special marking which differensiates the 48V and 36 volt versions of the motors. Does this mean they are in fact the same motor? Or are the motor controllers special for each voltage? What about the motor itself, is the same internal motor type used for all versions...

I am looking for the email address of the Italian ebike shop Future-bikes. I don't find it on their web page. Have tried various combination possibilities to no avail. Regards Birger

Anybody help me diagnose problem with Momentum Model T?

Have you checked that the speed indication works normally? If the indication shows above 25km/h when it should be below, the motor will cut out.

    Problem with new Tongsheng TSDZ2

I have installed the tsdz2 on more than 20 bikes. I have had one problem: On one occasion the speed did not show correctly, it showed just zeros. I buy via Mandy at MXUS and I sent the display back to them. Quite a lot of discussions, but now the display is on its way back to me. I was lucky in...

    Tonsheng TSDZ2

Didn't know you could get the TSDZ2 as 500W. Compared to the Bafang BBS02 of 25Amp peak and with cooling fins, the Tonsheng has a smaller casing and no cooling fins, so it must become rather hot as 500W. However the label on the Tonsheng does not state wattage. I know, I have assemble 25 of them...

    Tonsheng TSDZ2

The peak wattage of the TSDZ2 is 15amps x 36V = 540W as I know it. I however notice that it is advertised both as 250 and 350W. I have been told that these wattages refer to what the motor can sustain for longer periods of time while not increasing temperature above 2 deg C. Perhaps someone can...

    Tonsheng TSDZ2

I am now up to 17 sets of tdz2, most of them via mandy@mxusebikekit. As told previously only item is to wait 4 seconds after pushing the ON key in order to let the controller finish the startup procedure. Failing to do this will invariably cause start up problems. And the moment sensor is a very...

    Tonsheng TSDZ2

Alternatively you could contact mandy@mxusebikekit.com I have bought 8 TSDZ2 sets from them up to now and have had no problems whatsoever with any of them. Seems to be the cheapest channel as well.

    Cycle Commute below zero?

Cold hands and fingers? I'm an expert on that due to my slender hands and thin fingers. Solution: Mittens, preferably wollen ones. And with windbreaker toppings. Mittens help the fingers to keep eachother warm. Yes you have to get used to this, but braking and gear shifting is not that...

    Best bike for least peddling

I'm 76, not exersizing regularly. But have an el mountain bike with no throttle which I often use in our hilly terrain. But ofcourse overweight is a limiting factor, but not more than can be helped by high motor power and low gear combination.

    Need help with Ebike choice

The Carbon frame in your present bike doesn't prevent installing a mid drive (crank mount) motor with downtube (frame mounted) battery. Suggest a 15Ah battery fixed to the bottle holder fixture. As mentioned above a moment (torque) sensor should be preferred above rotating sensor. Gives a much...
