Thanks for the welcome. Nothing too strenuous planned, but we will be cycling in a group. Just wondered how rugged the battery casing was as stones etc tend to fly off tracks when in a group. Wouldn't have worried ordinarily, but I saw the price of a replacement battery!!!!!!! Common sense tells...

Thinking of purchasing an electric mountain bike powered via Bosch mid drive. Given that I have read that e bike batteries have to be treated very carefully, are they able to take the knocks and bumps that is almost inevitable with mountain biking. Any comments/advice appreciated.
