True, cordless connectivity seems to be the way they're going, great in the car with an Qi pad but no good on a bike.

Thanks, clearly options then. I'll investigate these. It seems all need a combination of connectivity to an adaptor then. I had hoped that there would be a single cable with a mini-usb jack at one end and a lightning jack at the other but it seems not. Many thanks for your speedy replies.

Anyone know what usb cable I need to charge my iPhone to the mini-usb port? Just bought a new Crossfire from Halfords and can't seem to get anything on the internet?
