    Thanks David, I get that law is the law - just seems very disappointing to be hitting a limiter so quickly. I suppose for uphill jaunts it would be great but my main journey is mostly flat so assistance isn't really needed. Gotta be a loophole somewhere :rolleyes:

    Interesting.. I have played around with telling the speedo that I have 16" wheels and running a 48V battery.. now although the speedo read incorrectly, I verified by GPS that I was inbetween 15-16mph. Now.. are you hinting that there is a "Secret - Secret" menu?
