Another critical dimension omitted from the drawing is the radius of the gear housing. On my Nucleus 275 the chainstay is 7mm outboard of the BB at that distance. I suspect many MTBs with 2"+ wide tyres are going to have this issue. Cheers Ian

Thanks for sharing your experiences and thoughts. Seems like a very useful but not strictly necessary thing to have. Would it be easy to retrofit one to a non-throttle Woosh kit?

Hi, I'm about to convert my Nucleus 275 MTB to mid drive using a Woosh TSDZ2 kit and was wondering if it's worth having a throttle. I live at the bottom of a steep valley so this picture shows the kind of challenge I face. Unsure if a throttle might be useful or maybe just avoid the big hills...
