It soon becomes instinctive and as your pedals and cleats "wear into" each other the engagement / disengagement become much smoother and easier. just beware when /if you need to replace pedals or cleats ..... when you have got used to nicely worn in ones then a fresh pair seem horrendously...

I was just thinking that . I don't see how they can be as the motor is 250W ... which is only legal for tandems and tricycles ( as far as I'm aware). So presumably these police bikes will also have an MOT, Tax , Licence plate Etc. I doubt that somehow .

Bet it rattles in the frame as well as introducing another place for moisture to enter your frame. I like the idea ... but don't thing it will take off.

I've always been a fan of simple leather gloves .. The leather keeps them windproof and somewhat waterproof and the lining keeps my hands warm enough without excessive bulk. If you keep your eyes open leather gloves can be had for as little as a few pounds at the right time of year.
