I only ride for 20 - 30 minutes per day and it’s mostly flat. The new controller is 17 amps.

Oh, that does make sense. Ok, so i’ll Buy the new KT controller and a half twist throttle. Any throttle will do or do I need a certain type? Cheers

...hey, I’ve just looked at the new Controller I’m thinking about buying and it has a “speed sensor wire” red, black and white. My bike doesn’t have those wires. Does that mean I don’t have a speed sensor? My current display is a basic LED with no speed display. Is that what a speed sensor...

Thanks Woosh for your help and time so far...I think I’ll buy a new controller. My one seems to be missing too many things and is a bit of a nightmare. Neal has suggested one which I think will solve my problems and give me slightly more power? I’m thinking of going with a left half twist...

P.s. I’ve ordered a KT LED8 display that suits KT controllers.

****Thats a good question! Are they meant to be red, black and yellow? I can’t see them. Could they be 3 of the 6 the wires for the Motor Hall sensor? Or are they the purple and black wires that I have no idea where they lead? If not, they aren’t visible, come to think of it, that’s weird...
