    Hi from Staffordshire

Nice Triumph georgehenry! The only four stroke I've ridden off road was Honda TL125. I'm sticking with my GBK kit for now, it's lasted three years so far. I'd be tempted with a rear hub next time thought

GBK100 front hub - bearing play

Thanks d8veh, the motors never been immersed but my commute route is on breedon gravel which when wet covers the bike in a grinding paste quality slurry. The bearing looks fully sealed and the seal is undamaged so I'm surprised it's let by? Something must have got in there though

GBK100 front hub - bearing play

Cheers, it's tilt unfortunately. I did tweak the nut but to no merit. Reluctant to open the hub etc

GBK100 front hub - bearing play

Hi My front hub is three years old and I've just noticed play in the bearings, there's noticeable play in the wheel on the right bearing. Obviously the bearings are a sealed unit. It's a GBK100 which I assume is a Q100? I've seen d8veh advice on opening the hub but I'm after advice on what's...

What is an unbuilt bike all about?

That's a good point but I bet that if it was a £2k oke Koke 2000 mountain bike and not a Real classic ladies bike then the supervisor would have definitely built it! What's a big pity was that the local bike shop didn't have the bike my daughter wanted

What is an unbuilt bike all about?

Completely agree with that, the bike hut manager promised to build my daughters but a kid did it, awful attention to detail, most nuts were loss and sturmey archer needed adjusting. I knew I shouldn't have let them build it!

Bargain MTB rack and light kit

I think it would depend on how the upper brackets/arms of the rack fix to what would otherwise be the seat stays of the suspension bit? A few ideas here...

Bargain MTB rack and light kit

Yes, I should have said I haven't got drop outs. You also get a luggage strap and a light so for £20 it's good value. I may put an LED into the light and run it off the battery as per my front light

I`m Dreaming of the perfect winter bike boot.

Bought some of these last week, very good. Size 9 to 11 fits over a size 8 shoe. Nice and warm. http://www.halfords.com/cycling/clothing/shoes/ridge-overshoes Alternatively I also use some £30 walking boots from tresspass

Very Bright Very Cheap Light runs from battery

These are good: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1-Pair-4-Color-LED-Day-Spot-Light-Motorcycle-Car-Truck-Bulb-Lamp-12-80V-LS4G-/131004478373?ssPageName=ADME:L:OC:GB:3160 But worth sealing the cable entry with a bit of silicon and angling downwards onto the road to prevent glare.
