Can’t wait to try it on my commute when back in the office. It’s a 12 mile each way trip with a brutal (but short) climb a couple of miles from the end on the way in (great fun on the way back!).

Max Power boost, from the feel of it. When I release the throttle, feels like it pretty much instantly returns to unaided speed. Very happy to discover what it was, a great idea.

Hi all, It’s a throttle, press and hold. Just been climbing a hill with a smile on my face (for the first time ever). My mistake was I was just pressing it, not holding it. Just checked the manual again, and no mention of a throttle. Thanks for the help everyone!

Nothing, as far as I can tell. I’ve tried it when moving and standing still. It pushes down easily, no resistance. I’m totally clueless as to what it is. This is my first e-bike, so I have no reference point.

Can anyone tell me what the device to the left of the control pad in the picture is please? I’ve checked the manual and can’t find a reference to it. Got my Wayfarer H9 as a commuter, and cannot work out what the device does.
