    I've managed to alter the saddle angle so I'll see if that helps, and once I work out how the handlebars work I'll fiddle with them. I'm not in as much pain as my husband who is trying to keep up on a non e-bike! :D

    Thanks! The bike shop e-mailed me back to say the softest spring was in it so I opened the other end and turned the dial thing hopefully to make it softer. I can't yet tell if it is, as my derriere still hurts from my over-ambitious 50 mile round trip to Edinburgh on Friday!

    I'm not sure! I'm going to have a look tomorrow in daylight as I have just found a diagram of it. I had hoped the wrong spring was in as it didn't seem to move at all but my husband just tried and it did move a bit...

    Oops I meant to write on that post! Cycled in pouring rain to Hailes Castle and back. It's great not to worry about what route (hills) - great fun!

    Hi I've been following the forum for a short while and found the info very helpful - so thanks! I enjoy riding my old bike but really hate going up hills. Suffering a bit from painful knees and hips after cycling now so feel a pedelec could be just the thing!
