    Measure battery capacity

I can only get those meters imported from the states which trebles the price. I can get something that looks the same for about 10 bucks though. Probably same factory. I'll use the one I have and maybe upgrade later. Thanks Voltages 41.9 full 36.4 part empty 270Wh. So 7.5Ah. I'll do a bigger...

Correct. Thanks for the 85% suggestion. Not going to buy a better meter at the mo although I understand the limitations of the Lidl one. Just want a rough idea.

    Measure battery capacity

Thanks. I was worried the efficiency would be much worse than that. My power meter gives kWh and I know my battery should be 36v x 10amps 360Wh. Hopefully the meter resolution will be good enough.

    Measure battery capacity

Hi, This summer I built a very inexpensive ebike using a Raleigh bike and a conversion kit. I bought an inexpensive bottle battery. Pretty pleased with my new bike but I'd like to know what I've really bought. In particular how good, or bad, is my battery. It's meant to be 36v 10Ah and it maybe...

Cheapest viable conversion? (not including battery)

If I was going to do that I'd go back to a motorbike. 250W won't ever be much help up a 10% slope.

Don't find mine at all weedy and I think the throttle is graduated however the Pedelec function isn't the best. I would look at LCD models next time.

I've so much enjoyed doing my new bike I think I'll do another one. I'll probably be a little more picky in choosing my frame and I'll surely look at the yosepower option. Thanks for the suggestion. Might even have gone for it if I'd seen this thread earlier.

Hi and I wonder why I can't post

Hi, I've ridden an ebike for several years and will continue doing so at least until my hip finally breaks or I get a new hip and ride a non ebike again. I wrote what I thought was a nice post about my recent ebike kit experience but sadly it's not considered acceptable presumably because I've...

I actually bought the 36v 250W rear wheel version from Easylivingus a few weeks ago. The kit is labelled Voilamart so may be sold by other vendors. Impressions so far a very favourable. It was a very inexpensive kit so it's not perfect but it is fantastic value. The kit arrived from Germany...
