That's some weight!! That is the reason I stuck to the lower power, 24v 250watt as I knew Id only need the two SLA batteries, the power in that is fine for me aswel.

I suppose with differant wiring and componants used, there would have to be slight changes in the workings of the controller. I will stick with the old controller though as there isn't enough differance in power for me to be bothered about it, I prefer the quiter model for the time being...

Which number D8veh? YOu think they might be wrong type? they are 12v 12ah designed for electric vehicles, I have used these types of batteries before, probably got thru about 4sets over 3 years, differant makes like Yuasa.
