    One thing to consider with mid-drive weight is that you're replacing the existing crankset... On folders they usually weigh about 1.5kg... so it's worth considering that the added weight = (weight of middrive - 1.5kg)* Adding hub motors means adding weight of motor and possibly a heavier wheel...

    That's interesting... The reports that I was reading on endless sphere seamed contrary to that. Also, because it sits further up on the frame (rather than off the bottom) it's good for a Tern Link/Dahon conversion as it doesn't get in the way of the seat post being pushed in. The cadence issue...
