    Just fitted BBS02 kit

I've gone for the 44t as they don't do a 42t. Hopefully it will help a little.

I might as well laugh at myself, everyone else does! ;-) I currently have a 46T chainring. As my issue seems to be heat related would a 42T chainring alleviate some of the issue do you think? Was looking at the 42T on Eclipse bikes. I'm not a speed demon by any stretch of the imagination and...

    Just fitted BBS02 kit

Well despite cleaning the holder, replacing the fuse and charging the battery my unit would not power on. I couldn't get any output from the battery using a multimeter so figured the immediate problem was there. Took the battery base off and found the wire to the fuse holder had desoldered and...

I'll check that. I don't think it was that clean from memory so that might be a good shout.

Well annoyingly today the fuse popped again at exactly the same point in my ride home. Strangely it wasn't on a hill but on the flat. So the consensus is to whack a larger rated fuse in then? I'd put a 30a in. 40a next?

    Just fitted BBS02 kit

Bit of a thread necro here, but I thought I'd report back a couple of years on. Sadly I haven't used it nearly as much as I should have due to my work location changing on a daily basis and due to the kit I have to transport it simply wasn't an option by bike much of the time. All told I've done...

What was the best thing (non bike) you bought in 2015?

For me it is my twin pack of Sonos Play 1 speakers. They sound brilliant and I love the integration with my media library and Deezer account. I can also select which room I want to play and can have different music playing in both rooms.

Sorry folks - another newbie looking for some guidance !

Nothing Oxford branded is worth buying. Almax chains and a squire lock are well worth the money.

Getting a fatty up that hill

Where are you located DK? If you are nearby you can see how my converted mtb chews the hills up and spits them out with contempt! I'm heavier than you and have no problems on longer hills than you mention.

    Helmets @ Aldi

I believe it should be compulsory to make your own soup. The risks of shop bought are too great to allow people to cart heavy tins from the shop. The sooner personal choice is removed from the process the better. As a shopper I've seen the aftermath of a split bag too many times. I personally...

What is the cycling infrastructure like in those countries compared to the UK? Do those countries have a greater number of dedicated cycle lanes where bikes are separated from other vehicles?

Yep, I stand by my belief that they should be compulsory.
