    PAS on SRAM Crankset? Help

Daffy, For the hollowtech there are many solutions as you said. If you have a multi ring front crankset you can mount to the inner crank or make an adapter to take place of inner crank. I had a 1x11 drivetrain so no extra mounting points whihc is why I had to go the glue to the crank spider...

    PAS on SRAM Crankset? Help

Yes you are correct in its use. I should have used epoxy, but used a small amount of thick CA for the initial test knowing I could break it off if needed. It worked so well that after the test I just glued the remaining areas with CA. I agree with Daveh that the accuracy for the PAS to work...

    Q128H

Hello Forge, Yes I did. It works so well I am considering upgrading my wife's bike. I got the Cassette version and was able to get an 11spd on there so as not to modify my drivetrain. My SRAM 11 was a bit too long so had to buy a shimano version made for mountainbikes. The SRAM 11spd...

    PAS on SRAM Crankset? Help

Hey D8veh, I figured it out using a 3D printed adapter I designed in solidworks to keep the magnet ring concentric on the Isis SPlined tube. I posted to endless sphere on how I did it. Below is a link. Anyone interested in the STL file to print this can email me, but I can only say it worked...

    PAS on SRAM Crankset? Help

Hello D8veh, Thanks for the reply and clarification on things. My bike is an SRAM 1x11 setup so before I buy any new parts I think I may have a solution. I dont have the small chain rings to attach the PAS ring too, but I do have the spider arms in a 5 legged array (72 degrees). I think I...

    PAS on SRAM Crankset? Help

Hello All, I bought a Q128cst system and had it laced to a 700c wheel. I started working on the install today and ran into an issue with the PAS sensor install. The problem is I have a SRAM splined crank and bottom bracket. The PAS magnet wheel is is set up for a square drive with a gap for the...

    Q128h 36v from bms battery

Hello D8veh, Yes I do understand. The mount I designed is actually patented to do that exact thing. My mount contacts the tube at dual tangent points and with the rubber feet it can resist a lot of torque. I figured I'd still use the bottle mounts and then add one or possibly two of my...

    Q128h 36v from bms battery

As for rocking side to side, I would still try and use the bottle hardpoints on my bike but the area that is unsupported could be supported with one of my mounts. I could still use velcro since all it is doing is giving support in one axis and the bottle mounts deal with the roll.

    Q128h 36v from bms battery

Hello D8veh, Thanks for the info on the issues with the flat base on the Shark type battery pack. After seeing your pics, it gave me another idea. I have a product I designed and sell to mount gopro cameras to aircraft struts. Its also designed to mount to tubing as well and I use it on my...

    Q128h 36v from bms battery

Hello D8veh, Thanks for the Reply. I was unaware of the issue with the round tubes and the shark packs. I did a search on an adapter and found this: https://mountskidmore.com.au/ This should do the trick nicely. So in your opinion the integrated 18amp controller in the Shark pack will be...

    Q128h 36v from bms battery

D8veh, I just posted a similar question in an older Q128 post. Instead of the 09 and 20 amp listed above, can I get away with the 36V 201 rpm Q128C on a 700c wheel with the 48V shark pack and integrated 18amp controller? I see others in the older thread here doing it, but the general...

    Q128H

I know I am resurrecting an old post here but I have a quick question. I see people here using the 36V Q128C 201RPM with the 48Volt shark pack with integrated 18amp controller and I want to buy this exact setup, but was told that the 18amp controller was too small for this setup. Seems people...

    Q128 and BBS02 questions

Hello All, This is my first post here. I have a similar thread on Endless Sphere, but since i am trying to build a low powered pedelec and not an electric motorcycle my replies have been all over the place. I figured this is the place for Pedelecs. I want a max installed weight of the...
