I have been riding electric bicycles for 5 years now, direct drive 2000W on mtb or cruisers, daily rider even in the rain and snow. I love riding my ebike, it gives me a grin from ear to ear. I don't even drive anymore, well I wish I could tbh, but I legally can't drive due to medical conditions. Problem for me is, I never break a sweat as I hardly pedal, sure I will fake pedal when I see authority around or people staring. I require a bicycle that forces me to pedal, so a pas system is required.

I have multiple motors, bmc geared, mxus dd, generic 9c clone, lyen controller, generic controllers, power tool batteries because they are so cheap, so reliable, so safe. Used LiPo, drained due to no lvc, charged and fireworks! Luckily I babysat them, next day they were at the fire station's toxic waste removal site, perfectly fine, not worth the risk. My LiMn chemistry batteries are so safe, I'd compare them to LiFePO4 chemistry.

I came here to ask questions on buying store bought ebikes. Also my current battery range has drastically reduced, from 15-18km to very little. I open it up, cardboard and duct tape, moist cardboard, I thought it was wood, thought it was dry, its not. I hope its not binned!
