recommendations for bike for 12 mile commute each way

If not, try the BS10, probably the most fun you can have in Lycra!

    Endeavour BS10 400Wh

Owned a BS10 for 6 months now, Brilliant bike, without a doubt the best e-bike I tried. Top Tip for you, If you buy one it's probaly best you do not mention it on this site, unless of course like me you like winding up the legion of Victor Meldrews out there. :)

    Destricted Kalkhoff Sahel i360?

Eloquently and succintly put, and probaly much more appropiate than my attempt at injecting some humour into the debate (there appears to be a few forum members who find fun something of a challenge to understand).

    Destricted Kalkhoff Sahel i360?

You know, on the first reading of this I thought what a load of self-rightous bo***x, but then I read it aloud in a high pitched nasal voice (think Mr Bean) and it made so much more sense! Thank you for cheering up a dull Monday in the office!

    Destricted Kalkhoff Sahel i360?

Come on, After a lifetime of riding litre + motorcycles with outrageous performance I suddenly find that cycling at more than 15MPh on a electric bicycle makes me edgy, dangerous and a menace to civilised society! At 55 you dont get many chances to get that sort of kudos, let me enjoy! (Got to...

Invitation to all E bikers - why not have a go 23 June

I could not agree more, why has this forum got so many jobsworths suffering with a sense of humour/fun crisis? Good luck to all the organisers and dont let these pedantic idiots spoil what should be a fun event. Martin

Invitation to all E bikers - why not have a go 23 June

Could this just be an elaborate ploy by Kudos Dave to draw us riders of the Devils Spawn out into the open and face the devine retribution of VOSA and Bristol Plod!

New to pedelecs Kalkhoff BS10 owner

From my experience with my BS10 you will need to charge at work, 38 miles is only going to be attainable with very low assist levels. Personally I leave mine on "Sport" level 3 and then ride it like I stole it! It sort of what the bike was designed for, Enjoy!

    Kalkhoff Endeavour BS10 400Wh

For the record, I bought a BS10 from 50 cycles last summer, great bike, fantastic performance and build quality. Absolutely from the moment I said I wanted to test ride a demonstrator it was made clear to me by their sales staff the implications of the higher power output and that this was...

Bosch Tuning dongles arrived today - 50kph cut off..

So, has anyone tried this with a S-Class bike?

Very impressed by the knowledge and helpfulness on this forum. Can I take advantage?

Go and try a Pro-Connect BS10, yes it is over budget and yes it is not technically road legal but it is without a doubt the best pedelec i have ridden and has me grinning like a schoolboy on my daily commute as i tear past every other bike out there.

Pro Connect S for sale in West London

Good Bike, I know because I bought the Bosch version, what intrigued me was that eddio "liked it" despite telling me I was a "Lazy Moped rider" for buying mine. If you are going to insult people at least try to do it consistently so it looks like you are speaking from the point of view of a...

    Chalk and cheese

Lazy? Not sure about that, I am working harder on my commute on the BS10 than I do on my unpowered hybrid, I just get there a lot quicker. As for moped, just as with your 250 watt version I only get back what i put in, to my mind the Wisper was more like (a very slow) moped as no rider effort...

    Chalk and cheese

Very intresting comparison, for the last month i was was torn between the Wisper 906 Alpino and a Bosch crank drive bike such as the KTM Macina race (lucky enough to have received a windfall to at last be in position to buy one) . Never having owned any e-bikes before I spent a lot of time on...
