sorry KirstinS your video will not run on my computer. I have the manual that came with the imax and its not much help. I can only find life once inthe menu of the imax and its 3.3v . The output voltage is also different to the screen with my fluke multi.

I'm puzzled too. I logged in yesterday and there was a reply from you. It said "Im in Derbyshire and I can take a look if he can get it to me" but it disapeared when I came back in the evening. Im sorry if I have made a mistake.

Great sugestion. This needs looking at but the guy doesn't know what he's doing. He tells me he's tried randomly replacing parts,he imported from a scrap bike. He can barely use a multimeter. He did order some new cells but I suspect he will wreck them if the original problem is not sorted.

You said earlier that you would have a look at the bike if he could get it to you. Are you withdrawing the offer? If its a question of getting some technical information. They have a web site and Im sure they would provide information. He is quite desperate to get someone to help him.

The older Heinzmannn controller has a half voltage wire to monitor battery condition. You would have to disable this curcuit. There was a schematic on the kinetics blog showing how to do this. The best batteries are Ping and the alternative controller is a 4qd uni 8 matched to your voltage.The...
